More Nerves Like Eels from 1989; this time Bill sings. I had forgotten how much we switched around on vocals at the very beginning. No one wanted to sing anyone else's lyrics, or no one wanted anyone else to sing their lyrics. I'm not sure which.
I am pretty fond of this Fletcher tune. It has a good mix between the quasi annoying guitar line I am playing and the more steady bit that Eric is playing. Also the drums are massive.
This is the version recorded in 1989. This was a big hit for us with various scenesters. I think there is a version on the more recent recording, but I will have to check it out.
Nerves Like Eels tune- Figurative. I love love love this song. Bill sings, I play a de-tuned Danelectro converttible (made of top grade Formica). The feedback is me. Love this song.
Fletcher tune. I don't think we ever had an official name for this. Craig's girlfriend, now wife, Lisa referred to this as the sexy song. How can you improve on that?
Fletcher put out one 7" to much acclaim. (It received a good notice in Maximum Rock and Roll). I am not sure if this is the final version that we put on the single, but whatever.
